REINS will soon be looking for a new home as the property on which REINS was begun in 2014 is soon to be sold. Most of the horses have been placed elsewhere and only Anjelyna remains with us. We hope sincerely to be able to continue taking horses in again once we have found a new landing place with soft bedding. Picture of Anjie.

www.toyourrescue.org For over 30 years I have rescued Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Records were all kept on paper, records were snail-mailed - no e-mail back then, no texting and no software program to keep records. Some programs came along but they were never good enough. Along came TO YOUR RESCUE - what a phenomenal program! We have used this for both the dog rescue (RINCAL.ORG) and the horse rescue (HELPREINS.ORG) and I honestly cannot say enough about this program. It is everything a shelter or a rescue needs. It is comprehensive, but oh so easy to use. Check it out.

Tomorrow is not promised. Even with medical treatment from the veterinarian last night. Today was all we had with Graziella who colicked last night and passed away today. Run free pretty girl and kick up your heels. You will be missed.

Mollie arrived home yesterday. She was one of the Morgan Hill horses we took in from the seizure case by the county. Our contracts will always state the adopte...d horses MUST come back to us if for any reason the new home cannot keep them. We are so happy that our contracts are honored and horses such as Mollie come home again. She is a very special Friesian/Shire girl. See more

We are building a new web site - please check out this link and let us know if there are issues we have not yet addressed. The gallery of photos is temporary as the photos are HUGE and need to be reduced as well as in focus pictures used - oops sorry - this is a work in progress for the next few weeks. This is the URL http://www.jellyfish-ladybug-8m92.squarespace.com

Oats and Barley have gone to live in their own pasture. Mom will send photos from time to time and the two girls will be totally loved.

Our gelding clinic is this next Saturday April 17. We need volunteers please. Folks who can check on the horses in the stalls, help with things like please pass the bucket or please make sure there is a towel on that horse or please hold that rope. Please let us know if you can spend four to six hours with us on Saturday. Photo for attention:

One Horse At A Time has helped make our gelding clinic official. Thanks to their co-funding, the clinic will be on April 17, 2021. Neither the volunteer veterinarians, volunteer helpers, nor REINS receive any money for this clinic. The fees charged for each gelding go solely to the drugs and supplies used on the horses. Thank you again to OHAAT for their help!
