Exciting news! We are lucky to have been approved for a SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan, and a portion of it can be forgiven for qualified expenditures. We are putting the $ to good use- within the loan's time limits, we will also be offering a special Mommy and Me Chinese for 3.0 - 4.9 years old free of charge. This introductory online class will start next week Tuesday, June 30 at 10 am (30 minutes) for 5 weeks. This one does not require an annual registration. One of my favorite Chinese holidays is approaching this September 13th. On this day, we call it Mid-Autumn Day () or Moon Cake Festival. Families get together and enjoy big meal with moon cake as desert. Here is a video for more background of this holiday. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/fpVd822yr7M

Zuckerberg tries again to enroll daughter in SCV Chinese School Initially sought three years ago to date, Zuckerberg is again trying to enroll his daughter at the SCV Chinese School. When asked by reporters, Mr. Zuckerberg regretted his slow actions and encouraged all parents to get their kids on the wait-list at SCV Chinese School as early as possible.

This year at SCV Chinese school, we celebrated the Chinese New Year with various culture activities such as paper cutting, calligraphy, majiang and games. We also enjoyed students performing. Learn Culture is an important part of learning language. And we had fun learning the Chinese New Year. Thanks for the families who contributed and joined us this year! We wish the SCV Chinese School big family a Happy Pig Year!
