Today we watched three remarkable clients @kimalter, @mourad_lahlou, @anthonystrong (as well as Hetal Shah - hope to work with you someday, too) dive into the unfathomable impacts of Covid on their restaurants (@nightbirdsf, @mourad_sf, @azizasf, @prairie & @august1five) on a panel organized by the GGRA. . It's a rollercoaster that nobody is really staying sane on, but we're inspired by the ingenuity and collaborative spirit of these industry leaders. Kim is feeding vulnerabl...e populations with Feedline, Anthony built a take-out market concept in 2 days, Mourad "threw out all the tweezers" and started cooking comfort food for Aziza customers. . Even though what's happening is already unprecedented, it was a poignant reminder that there's a very long, very weird road ahead. Rebuilding the restaurant industry will take comprehensive solutions and it will look really different on the other side. It's not going "back to normal" anytime soon. .
