Are you missing your weather? A location provider that supported Recast disappeared today so we have released a new version that fixes that issue. Please download the latest version (1.0.12) of Recast to get back in working order again. If you don't see the update yet it should appear in your app store within a few hours.

After a bit of a delay the latest Recast release is available to Amazon Appstore customers. Now everyone should be up-to-date.

Now available: Recast has been updated with lock screen widgets (Android 4.2.x), better handling of no internet connectivity with "current location", humidity now appears in a few widgets, new 4x4 widget layouts and much more. Go check it out!

We have just released an update for Impel, the easy-to-use automation app for Android. Big fixes in this version include Plus upgrade support for Android 4.x, arbitrary time updates, db fixes and more. Take a look in the Google Play Store and see what it can do for you.

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support and feedback during 2012. Recast has come a long way since we started this year and many of you had a hand in that! We do really appreciate the effort and information you've shared with us, and it has made Recast a better project. Rest assured, more features and improvements are coming after the holidays. Impel has also continued to pick up customer and we're humbled by the creative ways people have found to use ...it. Right now we're working on a few issues that impact 4.2.x devices and hope to have an update to resolve them soon. Keep writing in and let us know what you would like to see in a future versions of Recast and Impel. We're working on a better way to let everyone know what features have already been requested and what we're working on now. It is your feedback that keeps us pointed in the right direction so thank you for that input. A new version of Recast is on the way. New in this version are fixes for Motorola device batteries, system fonts supported again, and font cleanup from 1.0.8. It is rolling out to the Google Play Store now, so you should see an update in the next 24 hours or so.
