Operation Moving_Forward_Together

It has been a tough year for the restaurant industry yet the team at The Recess Room continued their charitable efforts since March by serving 500+ meals to loc...al seniors every week through the Operation Moving_Forward_Together initiative. We are proud to support and partner up with @AdvanceOC for this much needed and meaningful event for the seniors in need in our communities throughout Orange County. We encourage seniors to sign up, as well as volunteers to deliver the food. The Recess Room, which is one of our favorite restaurants and donor for our Operation #MovingForwardTogether: Feed with CARE food distribution since April 2020, will be among the many restaurants preparing the hot meals to be delivered throughout our community.

Another gratifying journey with #OperationMovingForwardTogether at the food distribution event today. Roughly 400 meals were passed out to homebound seniors and individuals with financial hardships and that could not have been done without our wonderful volunteers . Thank you for coming out Thanksgiving weekend to volunteer and give back to the community during this hard time and for engaging in social interactions with our participants in a safe manner. Our participants sha...red that they are very appreciative and happy to receive not just food but also kindness from every volunteer supporting this program . We want to spread positivity to increase people's mental health and serve as a bridge to connect them with necessary resources for a better quality of life .
