Interfaith Cultural Club

Yesterday, the Interfaith Cultural Club has their second meeting of the semester, where we discussed or previous visits as well as what we plan on doing in the future. The Sikh temple was a blast and it was a great cultural and religious experience. We would like to thank all those who attended! The Persian dinner was also an amazing experience where we got to be part of the Persian new year and listen to speakers talk in Farsi as well as take a tour of the Islamic Cultural Center of Fresno. In the near future we are planning on attending a Hindu temple and we need your help deciding which cultural eatery we should go to next; if you have any suggestions please post them in the comments section. This last Saturday March 12th, the Interfaith Cultural Club had the chance to visit a Sikh temple, where we learned about Sikh culture, food, and see a Sikh wedding! It was a great experience and allowed us to witness the beauty of this religion like never before. Everyone here at the Interfaith Cultural Club would like to thank everyone who helped us experience this wonderful event!

In our second visit of the semester, we elected out new officers, and we decided that we are going to visit a Sikh temple! Our first visit of the semester and we had the chance to go to The Fresno Buddhist Temple, and Shila Korean Barbecue. Thank you to all who attended!

Last night the Interfaith Cultural Club had the chance to go to the Interfaith Alliance of Central California's annual Thanksgiving dinner. Many religious leaders from all over the valley gathered here, and it was an amazing experience!

We had an amazing time at Temple Beth Israel, where Rabbi Rick Wiener showed us a Torah scroll, and got a chance to watch a youth presentation!
