April 7, 2020 Dear valued Aspen patients: Thank you for your continued support as we navigate the COVID19 pandemic. ... Please note, the recent changes we have made in the way you access your medical care and how we deliver it - may be a couple more months. We ask for your continued patience during this turbulent period. Aspen has made the following modifications during this time period: CLINIC HOURS have been adjusted to the following: Monday - Thursday, 9:00am 4:00pm & Friday 9:00am 3:00pm Calls received from 8:30 9:00am & 4:00 5:00pm will be directed to leave a voicemail & staff will return your call. After hour calls will be directed to our on-call service. STAFFING& SCHEDULING The majority of the Aspen workforce is working remotely with full access to phones, scheduling & patient medical records. ALL Aspen Providers are available for TeleVisit appointments! Staff are available to assist patients with scheduling & accessing TeleVisit appointments. Arrangements can be made for an in-person visit if your Provider deems it necessary. PATIENT PORTAL: We encourage patients to continue to send messages via the patient portal as we will be checking those as well. Staff is available for patients needing assistance in accessing their Patient Portal. All of us at Aspen Family Medicine & Geriatrics will continue to assist you, our patients, with your medical needs & concerns. Our goal of helping our patients stay well remains our top priority! Dear valued patients of Aspen Family Medicine & Geriatrics: We hope this message finds you safe, healthy, and secure at home! Starting Wednesday afternoon, a reduced Aspen workforce successfully transitioned to working remotely to continue serving our patients’ medical needs! While, we still have a few glitches to fix, the Aspen crew is committed, determined and dedicated to work through these so we may continue to support and serve our patients. We are here to help! Plea...se do not hesitate to call the office. Messages left by phone or via the Patient Portal are being actively checked by staff and forwarded to Providers for response or action. We realize that meeting with your Provider remotely may seem technically challenging or may not be your preferred method. To make it easier, we have simplified the process of accessing a scheduled virtual visit: Once an appointment is scheduled, staff can either email you or text you a link to your visit. At the time of your visit, simply click the link and you will be placed in a virtual waiting room and the Provider will join you at the appointment time. Please know, Aspen Family Medicine & Geriatrics is here to assist with your medical needs & concerns. Arrangements can be made for an in-person visit if your Provider deems it necessary. March 23,2020 Hello Aspen patients, As we face this crisis together, please know that Aspen is committed to ongoing communication with you, our patients, to ensure your health care needs are met! Aspen, like all responsible healthcare providers, is following mandates put in place for the healthcare system at large. This requires Aspen to alter our approach in addressing patient’s healthcare needs.... While we have moved most of our appointments to a TeleVisit format, we realize that some of you may be experiencing medical issues not related to COVID19, such as medication refills, and/or acute sickness/ pain. Patients who are experiencing medical issues are advised to call the clinic at 909-982-7741or submit a message via the Patient Portal. Providers are on standby to review ALL messages. If your Provider deems it necessary for you to be seen, arrangements can be made. It remains Aspen’s primary goal to care for YOU and your medical needs. We have launched a full-scale effort to educate our patients on how to access the Patient Portal and or access TeleVisits. Our entire staff has been educated on the process and are available to assist you should you have any questions. Written instructions on how to access the Patient Portal/TeleVisits can also be found on our website at www.aspenfamilymedicine.org . Aspen will continue to keep the clinic open and staffed to assist you with addressing your medical needs, as long as we can! We know this is a trying time. In light of the Coronavirus outbreak, Aspen Family Medicine & Geriatrics goal is to follow CDC guidelines and to safeguard our patients, staff and public at large! To aid in this, we are pleased to announce that we will be offering Tele-Visits. Patients may access Tele-Visits via the Patient portal on their computer or by downloading the Healow app on their smart phone. Instructions on how to access TeleVisits through both platforms are on our website at www.aspenfamilymed...icine.org (Please note: If you are using a computer you will need to access via Google Chrome and have a web cam and microphone) Please contact the office directly at 909-982-7741 to schedule your Tele-Visit appointment.
