Episode 03 of the Sad Bastard Club is ready for your eyeballs and your earholes! Welcome to the Sad Bastard Club, a showcase for a bunch of my singer-songwriter... pals here in the SF Bay Area that I started back in 2011 at The MakeOut Room in SF’s Mission District. The show ran continuously every third Monday since then, until the pandemic shut us down in March 2020. We decided to revive it as a web series and for Episode 03 our guests are Anna Hillburg and Brian Mello. In addition to being a wonderful singer-songwriter and fronting her own band, Anna is also a much in demand instrumentalist, and plays trumpet for Shannon Shaw and can be heard on numerous recordings. Brian Mello has fronted and played in numerous SF bands including The Parker Brothers and the Bellyachers. When he is not doing his own thing, he plays lead guitar for garage/R&B greats Harold Ray and East Side Dynamite.
