Join the Yuba Sutter Regional Arts Council and the Yuba County Museum of History in celebrating the anniversary of Marysville’s Incorporation into the State of California! Our special two night event, Marysville Gold Rush Dinner & Film, will take place on Friday January 24th and Saturday January 25th 6:00pm at the Lee Burrows Art Center in Marysville. Different activities each evening include old time musical entertainment, food, and historical art. Chuck Smith, Marysville’...s local film historian will offer a special entertaining collection of short films featuring early leaders and key incidents in Marysville History from the First Incorporation to early flooding and Beale Air Force Base’s efforts to save Marysville. Both evenings are a dress up event with prizes for best 1850’s attire. On Friday the program will include hor d’oeuvres, and local Banjo duet, Plinky and Plunky . Saturday’s program includes a full dinner with musical entertainment by the OCD band.
