Instructor Highlight: Yesenia Yesenia Felix is an Ashtanga Practitioner from Southern California. Her martial arts background taught her the importance of discipline at an early age. That isn't to say her classes aren't fun! Her goal is for you to know yourself a little bit better than when you walked in. She completed her 500 hour YTT in 2016 from Western Yoga College and is still a member of their Sangha. Her classes include opportunities for a little bit of meditation, customizable levels of perspiration, and lots of love. Her hobbies include astrology and Ayurveda, and hanging out with her Doxie, Sofia (named for Wisdom).

Sound Bath w/ Kyra & Angelique FRIDAY 6/25 @ 7:30PM A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience. An ancient sound-healing practice whereby the yogi relaxes in a savasana position and allows the healing sounds of traditional musical performances to bath over them. The music will be generated by singing bowls and gongs. In addition to relaxing the body and mind, a sound bath can balance the chakras by utilizing specific sound vibrations. For example, ...the vibrations of a C note are thought to target the root chakra, while those of an F note open the heart chakra. Yoga Mat Storage for Members All Tula members are welcome to leave their mat at the studio. There is no charge to do so. Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis. There’s a ton of open spots, claim yours! Use of mat storage is done so at your own risk.
QOTD Kid’s Yoga Workshop Series Every Thursday in November (except Thanksgiving) 3:30-4:15PM... $30 for ALL 3 sessions or $15 for 1 This workshop series is designed for children, ages 5-12, so they may learn poses and practice yoga in a nurturing and fun environment. The classes will build upon each other each week. Classes may include sun salutations, breath work, vinyasa flow, yoga pose games, and story time. Each class ends with a relaxing savasana. QOTD ICYMI, our Restore & Rejuvenate is now called Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is a fusion of long, slow, and deep stretches designed to promote rest & relaxation. Poses are held anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes. Students are encouraged to use props to support themselves in poses and breath work is incorporated. These classes have a gentle and slow approach and are great for anyone of any fitness level. Instructor Highlight: Megan Megan began my yoga journey at nineteen; she was at the age of not knowing what I was wanting in life or what my next step was. She decided that it was time to dive deep into herself and see what she was made of. After discovering yoga; and started practicing daily- Megan decided to get her certification. She received my 200 Hour Certification in 2019 through The Yoga & Ayurveda Center in Pennsylvania. ... In her class she offers a sense of comfort and acceptance; offering a safe place and challenging flows for any level and any body.
