On September 24th (11am-5pm), UCLA Blood & Platelet Center is hosting another community blood drive due to immensely low blood banks, resulting in critical blood shortages. There will be safety precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic such as temperature checks, social... distancing measures, and more. We are reaching out to anyone 16 and older to donate blood and help save lives together, so please share with friends and families! Along with these safety precautions, UCLA is offering an antibody test for COVID-19 as well. To see if you qualify or need more information, please visit gotblood.ucla.edu. This is a special blood drive due to our partnership with Be the Match, an organization that manages the most diverse marrow registry in the world. Because the age minimum is 18, we encourage MSA students to reach out to adult figures they know to become a bone marrow donor. To learn more information about Be the Match, please visit bethematch.org. Let's give back to our community as much as possible! See more
