ASUCD Executive Office is excited to announce the first ever Pumpkin Carving Competition, hosted by the FUN committee! We want to see how you’re getting into the fall spirit Gather your pumpkins and tools, and get creative! Hop on a Zoom call with some friends or a club you’re involved in, and have a pumpkin carving party! Or get your housemates together and make this a bonding event However you choose to go about this, make sure to snap pictures of your masterpiece and post using the hashtag #asucdpumpkinpatch don’t forget to tag us @asucdexecutiveoffice in order to enter the contest and possibly win some SPOOKY prizes! The competition is open from October 25th to November 7th, and winners will be announced on November 8th! Good luck and happy carving

#SenatorSpotlight Meet Sean Kumar, a past ASUCD Senator - - Sean is a fourth year studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. "Being a STEM major, I felt ...like a fish out of water when I initially joined the table; however, exposing myself to a new environment was refreshing and enriching. I worked with impactful organizations like the Campus Center for Environment by passing Senate Bill #36, the Mental Health Initiative by advocating for accessibility to mental resources, and many more. I spoke out for causes I was passionate about and worked to improve my peers' campus lives; serving on the table was an experience I will never forget. - - ASUCD Fall 2020 Elections are approaching With only 2 elections held every academic year, take this opportunity to run for one of 6 open Senate seats and help lead your community! - - Step 1: Submit an official nominating petition via the Elections website elections.ucdavis.edu starting October 18, 2020 (Sunday).
