I have been cutting and sanding in "The Cave" on this rainy day here in "sunny" (ha) Southern California.....It really does look like a lizard..... I was looking at it and thought about what got me started on this journey. Here is the article that interested me..... thought it might be interesting to see....... Don't forget incase you want to help the cause..... here is my "Go Fund Me" page..... hint ..hint...hint. https://www.gofundme.com/f/windancer-nonstop-solo-drive-acr

sadly, the design also has to be cost effective. I need to make the sides (after the front wheels) flat. This will help, keep cost on the build down, simplify the build, and bring it to reality much muich more quicker. I love the rounded sides of the final drawing but I gotta do what I gotta do.... PS. Don't forget to join the fun and "gofundme"!!!!! https://www.gofundme.com/f/windancer-nonstop-solo-drive-acr

In today's world, most records have been set and "firsts" have long been accomplished but there is one that harkens back to the days of Charles Lindberg and Amelia Earhart and that to find a challenge unacomplished is becoming exceedingly rare. Driving across country using the Interstate system is common place in America. There are even have "outlaw" speed contests from coast to coast popularized in motion pictures and automobile magazines but no one has ever gone from the... Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean solo and non-stop. We need a "legal" adventure to stimulate the minds of people to search for their own possibilities and make their own goals. That is my plan. I will be the first person to go non-stop, unaided, from coast to coast, transversing our great country. I intend to go from Santa Monica, California to Jacksonville, Florida via the "Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway"... better known as I-10. The interstate is roughly 2,460 miles in length and crosses eight states. To accomplish this, I plan to build a single seat enclosed reverse three wheeled "motorcycle" powered by a 650cc engine or similar, possibly using Biodiesel a the source of fuel. Biodiesel not only burns cleaner than petroleum based fuels but is safer and also a green sustainable fuel. The vehicle, known as "Windancer C2C" will be using aerodynamics to limit drag and weight control in order to maximize its fuel mileage and successfully complete the run. Windancer C2c will be fourteen feet long, approximately thirty eight inches tall and sixty five inches wide and will weigh less than 1,500 lbs with fuel and driver. Windancer C2C will have a support team running with it to assist the running control and provide logistical support. The funds requested will be used to build and initially test Windancer C2C and its abilities. Once proven, a second gofundme will be started to help pay for the project logistics of the journey. Your support, no matter the size of the donation, will put the project one step closer to reality but also mean everything to me. It will show my fellow humans with challenges that concepts can become reality and goals can be reached. With your help, Windancer C2C will become a reality and be instrumental in accomplishing one, if not the last, un-set solo record. My name is Paul Bristow. I am 63 years old and a retired Peace Officer suffering from a crippling disability that affects many people worldwide. I want to show others that age, disability, or other challenge cannot stop a person's aspirations or goals. I do this for my brothers and sisters suffering in quiet due to their personal challenges and restrictions. Thank you. https://www.gofundme.com/f/windancer-nonstop-solo-drive-acr

I feel as if I am building a boat instead of a car..... pretty cool actually. Ever since I was nine years old and loved a small porsche solid metal car I had with a smooth bottom, I have believed that this would make a car go faster and smoother. I guess with Windancer C2C I will test and prove this 54 year old theory!
