A big thank you to the Russian River Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center and The Monte Rio Chamber of Commerce for bringing the Creative Reopening Project to our area. This program features art installations by Jim Isermann with messages of Covid-related awareness on signs, banners and windows on the roads and businesses along the Russian River. Jim created two patterns that represent the Russian River- the river and the redwoods. Everything was funded by Creative Sonoma through the County of Sonoma and the National Endowment for the Arts for local chambers to incorporate the arts in their business districts’ safe spacing reopening plans. #creativesonoma #art #russianriver #guerneville #monterio #sonomacounty #jimisermann #keepsonomasafe #sociallydistanced #besafe #stayhealthy #outdoordining

It’s an honor to be listed among the amazing winners. The original building was designed by Carl I. Warnecke in the 1920s and it sat empty and unused until we opened in 2015.
