Meet Gilbert, a veteran with a heart of gold and a former guest of ours! After a lifelong career at @wbpictures he moved to Placer County to help his daughter who took advantage of him financially leading him to end up on the street. He came to The Gathering Inn and our social workers helped him back on his feet and into a home within a few months. Elder abuse is a serious issue and a frequent way that elders end up on the street. #veterans #helpaveteran #placercounty #placer #roseville #auburnveterans
