We should all sign & fully support this Me Too #forthemusic industry campaign. There is no reason to not sign this unless you are a groper, sexual abuser or rapist, which I sincerely hope you are not. Together we have the opportunity to clean up the dance music industry making it a safe place for both men & women. As a man I’ve been groped by women many times. I’ve been grabbed right up in my arse & my balls several times & while I found it annoying, I can only imagine how I’...d have felt if it was a massive muscly man doing it & not a women. That’s how women must feel being groped. It needs to stop. Men, you’ve all had your sister, girlfriend, wife or close female friend groped right? How did you feel about that? Also many young men, women & non binary adults coming out in the LGBTQ community experience these sexual assaults, which is what groping is! It then goes further than groping, much further as has been in the news & all over the internet lately. Rape is prevalent throughout society & we have a moral duty to stand up against it. This starts first in our own back yards, our dancefloors, bars, clubs & festivals. Together we now have the opportunity to make our community a safe haven before it reopens from predators by uniting & standing up with our voices to bring sexual misconduct to an end within our community.
