Today is All Souls Day. Regarding our Mass of Remembrance: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated differently this year. The names of our loved ones who have had funerals or burials celebrated with St. Peter Claver Parish this year will be read at the 7:30am Mass on Monday, November 2nd -The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. We are limited to 100 people inside the church, however, the Mass will be livestreamed, and can be played at ...any time afterwards from our Facebook page. Especially on this day, we invite you to remember your beloved relatives and friends that have been called home to the Lord. #StPeterClaverChurch #Catholic #AllSoulsday

Let us take a moment to reflect on this weekend's readings. https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/110120.cfm November 1, 2020 Solemnity of All Saints... Matthew 5:1-12A When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. We greatly appreciate your support during these difficult times.
