Oh how I have missed maternity sessions! Although I have loved all of the weddings, families and minis, and more families and more minis, I have SO missed photographing the glow of an expecting mama! Congratulations, Stacy, Robert and Wyatt

Why is it always soooooo hard to choose a couple sneak peeks?! This family was seriously SO much fun and it totally shows through their photos. I love being able to capture true and genuine emotions and interactions, and presenting it to my clients in my favorite form of art

I can't even take full credit for this photo Lani's little brother insisted on snapping a picture of his sister..SO- I held my camera up to his face, he stuck his eye to my viewfinder, I helped his little finger find the shutter release button and HE SNAPPED THIS AMAZING PHOTO! It definitely helps that sister is a NATURAL and was ready with the pose. This session was fall vibes AF

I am still SO EXCITED over my Golden Gate minis! Definitely making this a regular "thing" and holding minis here every year! The weather was perfect, and when my clients look like this?! How can I not obsess over my work?

Monday is the day I look over my calendar, confirm all of my sessions for the week, set goals for releasing galleries and most importantly, reflect on my previous week. What was good last week? What was bad last week? What went well? What can I improve on? We are our biggest critic! As a business owner it is SO EASY to sell yourself short. Constant thoughts I should have done it this way. ... My last client totally wasn’t feelin’ me. They really want ME to photograph their wedding?! I’ll never be that good. Or my favorite, Am I charging too much? I’ve classified myself as a photographer for almost 5 years now and those are almost DAILY thoughts. But, I can honestly say, my worth has never been as clear as it is RIGHT NOW and honestly, I owe it all to you! Over the last month I’ve worked with well over ten families and photographed two weddings. I’ve been working my tail off, editing my little fingers to the bone. (I also have a full time 9-5 job and two small babies so you can imagine the mad juggling skills I’ve acquired over the years ) My hands are full, my calendar is full, MY HEART IS FULL It’s the overwhelming amount of compliments, the repeat clients and all of you who have faith in my potential for me So happy to be where I’m at, eager and excited to see where I’m headed, and super thankful to have you all along for the ride PC: James Young Photography

I have so much love for this girl and her family! This is the face and number one supporters of Sweet n Small Bakery! They were some of my very first clients back in 2016. I photographed their engagement as well as their WEDDING! ... Fun fact: Mav & Abby's wedding was the VERY FIRST wedding I photographed. I've come a long way in 4 years, and I just want to thank y'all for sticking by my side all of this time!
