Today I lost my beautiful aunt Daisy. I grew up in a very big, close family. I had told my Aunts that I had gotten something from each of them. My Aunt Daisy was a dressmaker and early on worked for Emma Domb (a very desirable designer in the vintage world )in San Francisco. She later opened a dressmaking shop in Sausalito and then in the Marina in SF. The sewing was already in my blood, but it was through seeing what she did, that I was inspired to own my own business.
