Well, the season is over. Not what we wanted in the El Cajon Ford TOC, but a fair result. We only had 12.87 (12th on the day) at Otay, but had a stronger 20.34 ...at El Cap (4th on the day), so 8th overall. Actually, we had the fifth best total weight, but the event uses a point system based on each day's finish and then combined. Mike was big at El Cap with two of our three biggest--and he was big all year. Today we went up to a cove that is cut off by alligator weed we used the larger vessel to support The kayaks when they arrived they were able to go further back... into the cove. We learned today that the alligator weed is an invasive species brought in from South America. We will update our findings and information about this on a later date.
