Good afternoon Rodeo Baseball Families, As many of you have heard in the news, the last few weeks have been met with increased COVID-19 infections throughout our community. Due to the continued surge in COVID-19 infections, the California Department of Public Health has postponed Youth Sports. https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/OPA/Pages/NR20-336.aspx ... We have stayed in communication with the appropriate city & county leaders to discuss our options for playing and have been advised that the county has no plans to re-open the baseball fields just yet. Due to these circumstances, Rodeo Baseball has made the decision to delay all baseball activities until at least January 25, 2021. _______________________________________________________________________ Timeline Moving Forward: While we cannot guarantee a season at this time, we are preparing for one and will be ready when they say Go. Our projected Opening Day will be March 13, 2021. If that date gets pushed back, we will start May 8, 2021, if that date gets pushed back we will start July 10, 2021. _______________________________________________________________________ Uniforms / Teams / Coaches - 2021 Season: Because we may only have a short period of time to get set up and start playing, the board has decided to keep your child(s) on the same team with the same coach from the 2020 Season. Of course, there will be some adjustments with players/coaches moving up however we hope to keep all on the same teams with the same uniforms. _______________________________________________________________________ This 2021 season will be more of a recovery season rather than a competitive season. RBA will do everything in our power to make sure that your child(s) enjoys him or herself. We will continue to consult with appropriate advisers, and we are committed to doing the best thing for the safety and well-being of all our players, families, volunteers, and fans. As soon as our public health authorities say it is safe to gather again, we will see you all on the field. Please continue to check our website and social media pages for the most recent, accurate information.

Hello RBA family and friends. A lot of you are asking about the fire at our fields today. There was a fire on the hillside between the fields and Rodeo Hills Elementary! Luckily for RBA and everything surrounding the fire departments were able to put out the fire before any real damage was done. Thank you to Rodeo/Hercules fire and Pinole Fire for being fast and efficient! Our fields are safe and sound! Stay Safe we miss you all! -Rodeo Baseball

Hello RBA Families, We hope you all are safe, healthy & active. We want to let you know that we have not forgotten about you & we are still working on how to proceed with a league. We had a Zoom meeting with our coaching staff as well as our RBA Board. We are all in agreement that once the county opens back up, we would like to continue with a league. If we get the opportunity it will be very different than a regular season but we will work on those details when the time co...mes. We have to make sure we make the best decisions possible to ensure you and your families safety. That is a hard task with the future being so unknown. Understand, the health and safety of our players and families is our main focus. A start date is still no where in site as of today, but we are hoping to be able to set something in place by June 10th so expect another update around that time. This message was emailed out yesterday so if your not receiving emails please send Heather an email so she can make sure we have your contact information correct. Her email address is [email protected] Thank you for sticking by us and we will see you soon!!!! Stay safe!
