Our signature, award-winning baguettes can be made by you in your own home! It’s a fairly easy process that takes a little while, but the end result is just scr...umptious. Also, having your home smell like fresh baked bread is always a plus. Sorry in advance for how long the recipe below is . Make sure and tag us so we can see how your baguettes turn out. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy #PitchounAtHome #AloneTogether Ingredients Flour 585g (or 21oz or 3 3/4 cups) Water 410g (or 1 1/3 cup or 11 fl oz) Dry yeast 2g (or 1 teaspoon) Salt 12g (or 1 tablespoon of fine salt) Process 1. Use warm water. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix them by hand until well incorporated for 3-4 minutes. There should be no more dry flour remaining. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Leave to rest at room temperature (70-72 degrees F) for 45 minutes. 2. After 45 minutes, remove the cover and give the dough its first stretch and fold. Gently grab the edge of the dough, gently pull up but don’t tear, and then fold the stretched piece on top of the center. Work your way around the bowl doing this 3-4 more times until the dough has all been folded. Turn the dough over so the smooth side is up and cover again. Leave the dough for 45 minutes and repeat the folding process for the second time. Cover and let rest for 45 minutes longer. Repeat the folding again for the third time. Then let the covered dough rest for 1 hour in the bowl under a damp towel. 3. After 60 minutes, turn the dough onto a floured cutting board or work table carefully, using a scraper to help. Try not to tear. Try to keep the piece round. Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces to make 4 baguettes (or in 2 equal pieces should you want to make 2 round loaves). Gently form those pieces into loose balls. Cover gently with a damp kitchen towel. Let rest for 15- 20 minutes. 4. Shape into baguettes (watch our short video as a reference): take one ball of dough after another. Fold the ball on itself by gently pulling up one side of the ball towards the other side of the ball and with the palm of your hand, gently crush this folded part. Then stretch the dough a
