It is with a heavy heart that I tell you Melissande, with Paws Down, has passed away. She died peacefully in her sleep Sunday night. She loved all of our PDT pets very much. Please keep her partner of 32 years, Deb, in your thoughts.
It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with our Paws Down family. Melissande passed away in her sleep last night. I am completely in shock and heartbroken over this loss. She loved all of our clients and pets so much. Please keep her partner, Deb, in your thoughts and prayers, as she grieves the loss of her loved one for 32 years.

Happy national dog day!!! We hope all of our fur babies and their humans are staying safe and healthy.
Thought we could all use a good laugh! Have a good day.
https://www.facebook.com/730970949/posts/10158034745380950/ This little cutie needs a home. His parents lost theirs jobs and visas and have to go back to Australia. Quarantine would be too much for this senior pup so they want to find him a loving home before they move may 28th. He’s good with small dogs, cats, and older children. Please share. Thank you!
We’re so happy to hear about all of these shelters emptying out! With all of these adoptions happening, keep in mind we’re still doing training sessions, just via Zoom. To schedule a session call Amber 562-225-7128 or email [email protected] Let’s see those rescue pups!

Dog trainer in the making!
Happy November! I'm so happy it's fall and am excited for the weather to cool down. We're also excited for Thanksgiving!! Just think of all the table scraps we could give our four-legged friends....however, maybe we should rethink that, because some of the human food isn't always that healthy for our pets. Here is a recipe for healthy, safe, and yummy treats for dogs so we can still spoil them while we enjoy our feast. https://queenbeeskitchen.com/thanksgiving-dog-biscuits/
Some say it’s international cat day so let’s celebrate our purring PDT friends!
Happy national dog day!! From our family to yours!
Please be cautious, as the weather heats up, about keeping your dogs outside too long. If you put the back of your hand on the ground for 10 seconds and it’s too hot for you, then it’s too hot for your dog. Research the signs of heat stroke and know what to do if you see them. Also, if you have a dog walker, consider an earlier or later time of day, if possible, to have them come. https://www.nbclosangeles.com//Malibu-Search-and-Rescue-re
