Today at 3:45pm Pastor Rick Baldwin went to be with Jesus. If you know Pastor Rick, he has lived for this day and we are comforted that he is in the presence of his Savior. And at the same time, our hearts are broken for his family, his congregation, and all of us who mourn his passing. Please keep Pastor Sherry and the family in your prayers.

A note from Pastor Sherry. Please see my encouragement/instructions below. Dear Church Family, ... We need to let you know that the hospital called us last night that Rick was slipping, and they had us come to say goodby. The Vent was not a viable option with the damage to his lungs, but they were willing to put him on it. He told them he was in the Lords hands, and it would now be up to the Lord. We were able to go in and talk and sing and pray and he was at peace, and strong and courageous. He said he was ready to be with Jesus. He is sedated for his comfort, and he is truly in the Lord’s hands. We have been grieving and praying together since 2:30 this morning, still fully aware our Lord is able to restore him to all of us. We know this is not what we have been crying out to the Lord for, and I know you will be deeply grieved, and we wish we could wrap our arms around everyone of you and hold you tight right now, more than ever. Rick truly loved each one of you deeply, he treasured you. He’s still here, and we are still praying for a miracle that God will raise him up; but we rest in the Lord today. We will update you as we are able. Love you all. We are asking everyone to fast today. We will be gathering for one hour 12-1pm over lunch to pray together at the Modesto campus (Mark 9:29). If you are in the area, drop what you’re doing and join us. We will use the large auditorium or lobby and other rooms as needed, as well as the outdoor patio and grass area (and speaker system) to allow for social distancing. And if you can’t be there in person, join us from where you are. Let’s fast and pray fervently today for the Lord to intervene and do a miracle. Pastors Kyle & Marcia

Our beloved Rick Baldwin, pastor of our St. John's Campus, is fighting for his life in ICU at Memorial Medical Center. He has been battling Coronavirus for over two weeks, with some good days and some bad days. Today was one of the worst days, and the doctors are very concerned. We must rally around him in prayer this evening and throughout the night. He is fighting, and we are fighting on his behalf. And we are believing for the healing hands of God to do a mighty work. Join us in praying for a miracle turnaround tonight!
