Orange County Math Circle welcomes you to participate in our 2018 Thanksgiving Tournament! The tournament will be held at Sage Hill School on Sunday, November 4, 2018, 12:30-4:30 PM. Now entering its 11th year, the Thanksgiving Math Tournament is an annual free math competition serving more than 200 students in Orange County. During this tournament, students will participate in an individual round, a team round, and a fun activity round. Trophies or medals will be given out ...to the highest scoring students in each grade level. The highest scoring teams will also receive awards. This is a fun event for young students interested in math to further develop their interest in the subject, interact with other students who share the same passion, and gain valuable problem-solving experience! There will also be a bake sale to help raise funds for future tournaments so some money to buy snacks is advised. Orange County Math Circle 27.08.2020

We had a blast on Friday launching our first Math Fun Night at Haskett Library in Anaheim. The kids learned and played a whole host of fun mathematical games with volunteers and their friends. Judging by the smiles on their faces, we hope that everyone had a great time. We'll see everyone soon at our next event! Want to help your child see math in a whole different light? OCMC will be hosting its third Guest Lecture Series on Sunday, April 15th from 3:30-6:00 pm at Sage Hill School! OCMC is very honored to have Professor Jeffrey D. Streets and current OCMC Vice President of Operations Linghao Kong as our guest speakers! Professor Streets is a Geometry and Topology professor at University of California, Irvine, and he will talk in depth about what a straight line is. Middle School Math Club had their seventh lesson today with today's topic focusing on the power of the point. We formed teams for a competition of who could solve the problems on the board first!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Orange County Math Circle just hosted its annual Thanksgiving Math Tournament at Portola High School on November 18th. About 200 aspiring mathematicians congregated for an afternoon of problem solving, teamwork, and fun! Thank you to all the participants and volunteers who made this event successful! We are happy to see young students excited and interested in math - keep up the good work
