Columbian year 2015-16 Council 784's Grand Knight Jim Mikus and 3rd degree candidate Amador Almonicar.

The highlight of our Installation was our Council 784, (the 4th oldest active council in California) honoring our Past Grand Knight Maurice Harper jr., St. Mary's High, Berkeley athlete 1970, Hall of Fame Basketball player at St. Mary's College in Moraga, and Educational teacher in both Alameda and San Francisco counties. Congratulations Brother Harper!!!

A beautiful Saturday morning at Heather Farms. We hosted a Special Olympics event, featuring a softball tournament, and the children had a great outing! Another successful event by the Knights of Columbus!

CHARLES A ROGERS DISTRICT DEPUTY of District 33 We are in the process to begin a Round Table with Saint Leo’s and Saint Elizabeth’s. ... Council 784: Has obtained 67% of their membership. Council 784 is assisting with their Church, Sacred Heart, for the 15th Fiesta of Our Lady of Fatima, on October 15th, after 5pm Mass. Free Dinner and Dance. Raffle prizes and more! Re-activating the Columbian Squires, Membership Blitz set for Sept. 18th, Sunday. Council 2730: Had a Pancake Breakfast last Sunday. They have a KNIGHT Memorial Rosary/Mass on November 5th, at St. Jarlath’s. Start time is 4:30pm. They are working on a presentation of a Wheelchair Sunday in the next 2 months Council 4840: Conducted their Officer Installation on Sunday, August 7th. , Dedication of a Pro-Life Monument on Sept. 17th, at a 5pm Mass. Bishop will be in attendance, Color Guards are requested. On the next day the Bishop will celebrate a Pontifical Mass according to the Extraordinary form at 12:30. At that time we will say goodbye to Canon Moreau and welcome Canon Fragelli. Canon Moreau is a Knight of Columbus Council 15191: Christ The Light still needs to take baby steps to stay active and obtain more members. It’s going to be tough at the Cathedral, but TOGETHER, we can keep them going. Saint Elizabeth’s will have a membership Blitz on September 24th and 25th Saint Leo’s will have a membership Blitz on October 9th, Sunday VIVAT JESUS!

My very first District Meeting with my councils is tomorrow at 11am. nervous? Nah, but I want to be organized, speak clearly and wish to be as informative as possible. I have FAITH, that this first year will memorable and rewarding for me.
