On October 29th, MST closed on a loan for up to $8.45 million with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) under the Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) Rural Project Initiative (RPI). This is only the second loan approved under the TIFIA RPI. The DOT provides TIFIA RPI and other surface transportation infrastructure financing through its Build America Bureau. Crews will remove JAZZ bus shelters at Sand City Station on Saturday, October 24th for some off-site freshening up. Work is scheduled to be carried out before buses arrive, and no schedule or service changes are anticipated. For your convenience, temporary benches and trash receptacles will be installed while shelters are being refreshed. Things will look a bit different, but service will be the same!
