The Merced Breakfast Lions Clubs held a Leo Appreciation Day out at Yosemite Lake yesterday for the MHS and ECHS Leo Clubs. Fun time had by all: games, socializing, recognition of seniors, installation of new Leo officers, and delicious hamburgers and hot dogs! Thank you Lions for your sponsorship and support!
March 25, 2021 Merced Breakfast Lions Club is having a Chicken / Rigatoni drive thru dinner at the Italian American Lodge at 1351 W 18th Street from 4pm to 6pm. Tickets are $15. All funds raised go back into our community
In a time that finds us all trying to figure out how to overcome the unforgiving challenges of COVID-19, there’s one certainty that persists. The need to come together to support those facing insurmountable hardships far greater than our own. Whether it’s bringing together our Lion and Leo members to prepare a meal for the homeless, or supporting the youth of the Merced community with their quest for education and building a future for themselves, or just supporting some of t...he other organizations in our community, the Merced Breakfast Lions Club remains committed to making a difference. In the past, we have funded our projects with your support through fun events like our Crab Cioppino Dinner and our Thankful to Be Giving Dinner/Auction. We hope that you’ll continue to support us with a generous donation of your choosing. www.mercedlions.squarespace.com
December 5th was International Leo Day. The El Capitan High School Leo Club celebrated the global holiday Saturday by attending the Virtual Global Leo Party with tens of thousands of other Leos around the world and rounded out the day by doing what they do best. They served the Merced Community with a morning litter pickup in downtown Merced and then topped off the evening by creating an awesome gingerbread house for the City of Merced Reverse Christmas Parade. Way to go Leos!
Congratulations ECHS Leos for a job well done!
Due to the recent Covid-19 restrictions, our fundraisers have been very limited on what we are able to do. Please visit our web page at www.mercedlions.squarespace.com and make a donation of $25, $50, $75,or $100.
