Join Dr. Sam Liu, economics professor and Honors Coordinator at West Valley College for an interactive crash course in financial literacy. Sam has a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and typically gives this talk every semester at WVC. Through the magic of Zoom, the Honors Program is happy to welcome him to LMC so we can benefit too.

Zoom Link In Bio Dr. Shamell Bell is a community organizer, scholar, and street dance performer, who received her Ph.D. in Culture and Performance from UCLA. Her work centers on what she calls, "Street Dance Activism" which situates street dance as grassroots political action from her perspectives as a dancer, choreographer, healer, and scholar. In this presentation, Dr. Bell will discuss the ways students can engage in grassroots movements during a time of COVID.
