A tragic loss for Santa Rosa Police. Detective Marylou Armer passed away yesterday from the COVID-19 illness. Detective Armer was a 20 year veteran of the agency and will be missed by all law enforcement. Godspeed Detective Armer. Please take a moment today to honor Detective Armer and all the first responders out there during these tough times.

Thanks Round Table Pizza La Mesa for making us some delicious pizza today for lunch. Another amazing day of helping out our local restaurants! Coffee and fresh muffins from Sheldon's Service Station to start the morning and a great sandwich from The Lunch Box for lunch. We are lucky to live and work in such a great city! #LaMesaRocks As we head into the weekend and finish our first week of giving back, we can't forget about our other graveyard squad that works tomorrow night. Weekend nights are busy for them so they need to have a full belly to make it throug...h their entire shift! The LMPOA will be buying all of our officers and dispatchers dinner from Mario's De La Mesa Restaurant located at 8425 La Mesa Blvd. Mario's has significantly reduced their hours during this time and we all need to show them some extra love! #FajitaFriday The LMPOA has received a lot of positive feedback this week from the public and we want to thank you all. Our officers better be hitting the gym in the morning after they get off. They are feasting on some pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread from Pietro's Cucina Italiana tonight! #ISwearOfficerIOnlyHad1PieceOfPizza Tomorrow, the LMPOA will be enjoying some morning coffee and breakfast from Sheldon's Service Station located at 8401 La Mesa Blvd. If you haven't enjoyed a coffee on the amazing patio of Sheldon's Service Station, you are missing something! What a great..., relaxing view of Downtown La Mesa. The LMPOA is doubling up tomorrow on our support and for lunch we are going to be ordering from The Lunch Box located at 8751 La Mesa Blvd. The Lunch Box was one of the original sponsors of the LMPOA annual charity golf tournament and we can't wait for our lunch tomorrow! Who doesn't love a chocolate cookie after a great deli sandwich! We are having so much fun and enjoying all the food from our local restaurants each day. We know all of us are going through some trying times right now but we can get through this. Every place that are we going to is an "essential business" so let's all show them some support. #WorkingWithTheCommunity The LMPOA is going to continue our effort through next week. Thanks to Light Bulb Coffee and Trolley Stop Deli-La Mesa today for some wonderful breakfast and lunch! #FullBellies All of our employees enjoyed it so much and we were happy to help you guys out! Tomorrow, we will be taking care of our graveyard officers and dispatchers. It's because of these awesome employees that we can all sleep at night without worrying because they are out there protecting us. It’s a tough time for all of us right now including all the amazing small businesses in La Mesa. It’s these businesses that step up and help the La Mesa Police Officers Association and local community in our times of needs so it’s time to help them out! #TimeToPayBack In an effort to help out our local small businesses, the LMPOA will be supporting some of local businesses by purchasing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our hard-working officers! Not only will we be giving ou...r officers a quality meal as they protect the community, but we will be helping the local economy stay afloat during this time. #SmallBusinesses The LMPOA can’t keep the economy afloat all by ourselves. We are asking the community to step up and help the local businesses the best you can while still concentrating on your health and safety. The LMPOA will be highlighting our local businesses as we embark on this journey! LMPOA members played in the CNOA Fallen Officers Golf Tournament! Proceeds from the tournament go to the Survivors Memorial Fund, which provides immediate assistance to the families of fallen California law enforcement officers. Thank you CNOA Region IV!
