Small Business Protest at City Hall San Francisco is now the ONLY major city in the US with no announced plans for reopening closed businesses sectors. Last month, Mayor Breed submitted her 2021/2022 annual budgets. In that, there is more than $446 million dedicated to Covid relief. Of that, exactly zero is earmarked to help small businesses. The Mayor has found millions and millions of dollars for spending on new initiatives, but no new spending for the small businesses that... form the foundation for local neighborhoods particularly as the majority of corporations in San Francisco have moved to a work-from-home model. We need the city to provide rent relief, we need them to provide clear information on when and how businesses will reopen safely. We were trying to avoid a large gathering, but after 5 months of working with city officials, we STILL have no answers. #savesffitness #savesmallbusiness

San Francisco’s small fitness studios are in trouble. We haven’t been able to reopen in any meaningful manner since March and landlords are looking for the rent. Please do what you can to support your local neighborhood fitness studio. Book an outdoor/online session, buy a gift certificate or write Mayor Breed. Anything you can do to keep this vital industry afloat will really help.
