It’s almost April! Throughout the month, ISC has teamed up with Impactree to create a hub of actions community members can take. Visit https://my.impactree.com/g/ucsd-isc or the Linktree in our description to join our group and start completing actions throughout the month of April! Certain days will have actions specific to that day, so make sure to check in periodically. Prizes will be awarded to those who complete the most amount of actions!

The UCOP Sustainability Affinity Group, in partnership with the UCOP Department of Energy and Sustainability, invites the UC community to participate in Sustai...nability at Home, a three-part virtual speaker series event in celebration of Earth Month (April). Their second event will take place on Thursday, March 25, from 12-1 p.m., with a presentation by three San Mateo County Office of Sustainability Master Composters, Nancy Kruberg, Joe Lees and Kelly Torikai. These experts will discuss how you can be sustainable at home by transforming food scraps and plant trimmings into a nutrient-rich soil amendment for your garden. The World Food Center will co-host the virtual student summit 2021 of Universities Fighting World Hunger (UFWH) alongside the University of California Global Fo...od Initiative and the Nutrition Policy Institute, University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources in partnership with the Hunger Solutions Institute at Auburn University. The summit’s theme is One Health. One Planet., and it will take place on March 25 and 26, 2021. Keynote speakers include: William Dietz, Director of Sumner M.
