What do you mean "Bigfoot?"
It's been a month since we had to move out of our rescue and sadly, we have found no other building available in Quincy for our work. With the gift of 100k towards a mortgage and through the generosity of several more supporters we have about 120k to our name and have tried to buy several abandoned places, but the owners are not interested in selling. There is a school district building coming up for bid that would be IDEAL for a rescue, but it's appraised at 205k, and we don...'t have enough cash to make a viable bid. If no one else bids on the property the school board could consider taking less than the appraised value, but we would basically have to be the only bidder. That is unlikely, but we will submit our best offer and hope, Hope, HOPE the kitten gods are with us! Our volunteers are ready to go back to saving animals. If you hear of a place or have a building we can buy/ rent please let me know. Thanks so much! See more

Friends of PC Animals is exploring options in Quincy to re home our rescue. With the last of our animals adopted we are concentrating on moving everything into storage while looking for a building that will work for us. All of our family of supporters have been so kind and so supportive these last months and the Board and volunteers of Friends send each of you many thanks and much love. We are currenting looking at 3 buildings- all with their own positives and their issues, b...ut hope to have answers in a few weeks and then start the recreating process. Always, For the good of the animals...
Madness everywhere for sure..
Shelley is an older female calico who desperately needs a new home. Friends has lost our lease on the building and this wonderful girl is our last resident to place in a new home. Please share and let's find Shelley an adult home in the next three weeks. She really deserves this chance.
