A little tougher fishing today for the 3/4 day boat. They managed 60 solid sculpin for their 14 anglers. Strong downhill current required 10-12oz sinkers. Check out this school of little mola-molas that thought the San Mateo was a kelp paddy. We’ve been seeing a ton of small molas around lately with the abundance of one of their food sources called salps . Slaps are a harmless gelatinous small barrel shaped tunicate often confused as jellyfish.
