hey y'all!! Our next meeting is tomorrow night (Thursday 9/19) at 6:30 in our room at the end of West Hall!! We will be getting Indian food (w/vegan/vegetarian options) so come through:))))... If you are going to the 5C turf dinner, feel free to stop by the meeting afterwards for some food or snacks or just the company. Like last time, someone will be downstairs to grab anyone who can't swipe in, but if you come after 6:30, just text Noosha at 617-595-5594 so we can come grab you.
Hey y’all!!! MESA (Middle Eastern Students’ Association) first meeting of the year will be held this Thursday (9/13) at 6:30! The meeting will be held in our room, which is on the fourth floor of West Residence hall on Pitzer’s Campus. Although we are currently a Pitzer club, we welcome and encourage 5C people to join! We will definitely have a MESA member be at the bottom of the residence hall before the meeting to open the doors/swipe non-pz folks in. If you have any ...questions about how to find the room or about the club, feel free to contact: Kamyab - [email protected] Keon - [email protected] Noosha - [email protected] Lots of TJ snacks will be provided. Hope to see everyone there:))) Kamyab, Keon, and Noosha

News coming from The White House today is both frightening and disheartening. Many muslim and middle-eastern students across our campus are dealing with significant anxiety, especially as we begin to unpack the implications of this latest Executive Order. No matter what happens--MESA stands in solidarity with all students in opposition to racism and discrimination. We will holding our weekly meeting this Wednesday.
A very special thank you to The Student Life for the news article about MESA, which appeared in yesterday's paper. This article includes quotes from members Hajar Hammado and Ilyssa Yahmi. We are so excited to be a new (and important) part of the Pitzer College community.
Meeting tomorrow, Monday, 2/20 at 8pm in P105!
