I've just started organizing my storage. It's wonderful when I get to find something like this! In 2003, the talented musical composer, Brett Kristofferson asked me to be a guest singing at a showcase he produced at the historical Steinway Hall. Of course I said YES! About Brett: Brett Kristofferson recently served as musical director for Wingspan Arts (Merrily We Roll Along) and the Professional Performing Arts School in New York, NY (Carnival, Into the Woods, Bat Boy and Gy...psy). Other recent musical directing gigs include the world premiere of the musical comedy Theater Boys for New York’s Fresh Fruit Festival, and the national tour of Girl's Night. Brett is very active in Manhattan’s cabaret scene, serving as musical director for Angela Shultz, Christopher Puckett, Christina Parke, and the Storefront revues, Taking the Wheel: The Music of John Buchinno, and It's An Art The Music of Stephen Schwartz. As a composer/lyricist, Kristofferson’s work has been heard in numerous venues around New York City, including The Duplex Cabaret and Piano Bar, Don't Tell Mama NYC, and manhattan theatre source. He has composed several musicals, including The Red House, Insanities, In Her Place (lyrics by Angela Shultz) and most recently, a backstage musical spoof, As the Curtain Rises (book and lyrics by Brent Peterson.) His song, The Whole Wide World was nominated for Song of the Year by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs. See more
