Hope everyone had a great Monday! This cake is super close to my heart because it reminds me of someone very special. I love how the entire design came together as an exact replica of the vision in my head. The white table cloth design has hand-painted peacock feathers all around with a gilded gold border.... Each of those feathers in the cascade on top was individually cut, trimmed, painted and dusted to showcase the gorgeous colors of a peacock tail. And finally, aren't your eyes immediately drawn to this cute little Krishna?! His delicate features, with a tinge of of naughtiness in His eyes and those tilted mud pots with dripping butter are quintessential of all those stories you are told about Krishna as a child :) Hope you all enjoy the beauty captured in this cake as much as I enjoyed making it!
