Letters of Kindness is a volunteer program that utilizes the kindness and thoughtfulness of people that want to get involved and have a positive impact on individuals and their communities. Devoted Healthcare is collecting cards, letters, and other mailings to hand deliver to hospice patients to help comfort and soothe their loneliness or social isolation. Bringing joy and a smile to patients is what Letters of Kindness aims to accomplish. We believe that a gesture of kindness can brighten the day of anyone.

Devoted Healthcare goes above and beyond in caring for the whole person. Providing music therapy to patients and their families is just one way that Devoted demonstrates a sincere desire to care for all the needs of our patients and families not just physical needs but emotional, mental, spiritual, and psychological needs as well.
Hospice is a patient-centered, family-oriented approach to care for anyone in the advanced stages of a life-limiting illness. By combining careful pain and symptom management with spiritual and emotional support, hospice enables patients to live out the remainder of their days in comfort and dignity, surrounded by those they love. Hospice care neither hastens death nor prolongs life but allows the illness to take its natural course. For families, hospice provides extensive bereavement support, both before and after the loss of a loved one.
Do things for people not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are. Letters of Kindness is an volunteer opportunity to give back. Visit www.mydevotedhealthcare.com for more details.
