We, at Pt Pal, have been working on implementing our platform for remote patient management and tele-visits for COVID-19 in hospitals and clinics. The docs and clinicians on the front lines are doing an amazing job. There are a lot of changes and unknowns regarding telemedicine and charging. Our CIO, John Dzivak is heading up a Pandemic Work Force for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine to help with knowledge exchange: COVID-19 WEBINARS: ACRM will be hosting liv...e sessions with experts from the Tele-Medicine industry to provide clear and up to date information regarding telemedicine and remote monitoring in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation during the COVID-19 crisis. GOAL: The goal is to provide information from the source and allow you to ask questions and try to get some straight answers for clear decision making. TUE 24 MARCH: Connected Health Initiative - Leading telemedicine industry group working directly with the White House on telemedicine changes during the pandemic. THU 26 MARCH: Nixon Law Group - Experts on telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring reimbursement and requirement policies and laws. FRI 27 MARCH: ASHA - Neela Swanson, Director of Health Care Policy, Coding and Reimbursement TUE 31 MARCH: APTA - Alice Bell, Senior Payment Specialist THU 2 APRIL: AOTA - Deborah Lieberman & Jana Cason FRI 3 APRIL: Southeastern Telehealth Resource Center - SETRC is one of 12 Federally funded Telehealth promotion centers. Experts on telehealth policy and laws state-by-state. TUE 7 APRIL: National Institutes of Health - addressing changes and concerns of administering grants during the pandemic changes. THU 9 APRIL: White House*: Representatives from The Trump administration communicating changes that have been approved, what changes are being considered and addressing questions from the audience.
