Last Wednesday, the Inland Division Commercial Unit Strike Force was deployed in our areas as an effort to keep the motoring public safe on our local roadways. There were a total of 85 inspections conducted on commercial vehicles. Four Drivers and 23 vehicles were placed out of service. Three vehicles were impounded and 45 citations were issued. 30 citations were issued to speeding motorists, 12 were mechanical violations, two were cell phone violations and one was a seatbelt violation. On January 11, 2021, CHP Riverside units responded to an incident that occurred around 6:18 PM at Peach Street and Telford Avenue, in the city of Perris, California. Once on scene, an unidentified, unresponsive, Hispanic, male adult was located with several injuries. The unidentified party was immediately transported to Inland Valley Medical Center due to his injuries. We are seeking the public’s help in identifying the involved party, and determining the events that led up to his whereabouts and how he sustained his injuries.
