Thank you @detroithives for the awesome honey and bee education! Did you know female honeybees do all the work to make honey!?! Timothy and Nicole are doing great work! And a huge thank you to @chartreusezebra for flying her busy bee butt out to the Motor City for some great urban exploration and people meeting/visiting.

Toot toot, perhaps some of the best food we've served all year. Greens courtesy of @tierrasanta_lutheran_church 's giving garden cooked down with pork, seafood dressing loaded with bellpeppers and 7 kinds of sea creatures, all vegan smoky split pea soup with some help from @specialtyproduce and the generous discount they offer us, and cornmeal crusted catfwith a little help from @usdagov commodities and the @sandiegofoodbank and @mjanneuhaus. And a the rest of it (chicken, burgers, green and fruit salads nearly 3/4 of the meal!) resuced food with the help of @feedingsandiego and @albertsons! 193 guests served! Whew! #thankseveryone! @ Third Avenue Charitable Organization
