(((Torrance Public Announcement))) The City of Torrance will continue to NOT enforce Street Sweeping Parking Restrictions until the County of Los Angeles changes the status of the Covid-19 response level or until further notice. When we do start up again, we will most definitely place warnings on windshields the first week. Please follow the City of Torrance page to get latest updates. https://www.facebook.com/TorranceCA

These are three coyotes that were caught on camera hunting in a pack. This is a very dangerous situation as they can take down larger animals and people. We tru...ly need a coyote management plan that has a regional reach and one that would bring down their numbers significantly. #EvictCoyotes See more

We have to protect Torrance and that starts with us, the residents. We can't allow anyone to come in and destroy our property and lifestyle. Gangs are not going to be tolerated here. Outside of Torrance they can do whatever they want. Here, they will be met with massive resistance. The message needs to be loud and clear. No room for thugs in Torrance. I already reported this to our Hotline.... Please download the myTorranceCa app from your smartphone and help us achieve a Cleaner and Safer Torrance. Also, I'm not advertising their tagging, I'm just letting the public know that I will not sit on my hands while these thugs move into our city, and neither should any other Torrance resident. (((Torrance Transit Update))) Torrance Transit will resume its regularly scheduled service starting October 11, 2020. The State and Los Angeles County Guidelines for social distancing will still be enforced. All passengers must wear a face-covering while riding a Torrance Transit bus, and must use the designated seating. Torrance Transit is presently not charging our patrons, but may resume charging fares in the future. Everyone must board and alight from the rear door. California, 2020. Individuals that are allowed to live like this are not just financially disadvantaged, they are most likely addicted to drugs, alcoholics, and/or mentally ill. This is not the guy that lost his or her apartment after they lost their job six months ago. A person's personal freedoms shouldn't infringe on my right to live in a clean and safe community. The Governor should declare California a National Health Disaster and clean up the mess that has been caused by decades of bad policies and greedy politicians. We must all push our elected officials at all levels to clean up the streets we all pay for. Rebuild long term mental health facilities and drug treatment centers, and allow the courts to save some of these lost souls. Who you vote for matters. Wake up California. I try my best to answer and engage all inquiries, but sometimes I just don't see the messages or questions as they often get buried by hundreds of notifications from multiple platforms. We may not all agree on my policies, tactics, methods, etc., but we should all agree that I am the most accessible and engaged Torrance City Councilman that Torrance has ever had, and that makes me susceptible to attacks, criticism, and sometimes threats. I could however be like most other pol...iticians in general and sit quietly in my corner, read the posts but never respond, not engage, and just wait until three months before the election to come out of my shell and do a few photo opportunities. That is just not me. So, having said this, please feel free to contact me with any issues you may have regarding Torrance, and I will see what can be done. Not here to fight or argue, I just want to help solve issues, that if left alone, will become bigger problems for all of us. Please email me at [email protected] I truly believe that we mostly all want the same outcome, yet have different ways of getting there. I will always be pushing for a Cleaner and Safer Torrance. #TorrancePride See more
