San Jose Parents Participating Nursery School in the Willow Glen area of San Jose, is seeking an enthusiastic experienced preschool teacher to teach our precious 16 month-3 year old children in a play-based environment. This teacher will become an integral part of our community helping to enhance our program. This is a part-time position that will include engaging with students and families in both an online platform and in-person. Evening meetings are to be expected 2-3 tim...es per month as well as attendance at all school community events. One of the traditions of the 4-day class during the month of May, is a camp out with the kids and their parent who is normally not working in the classroom. They spend the night in the school yard, in their tents, and we have s’mores, read stories, sing songs and laugh!!! This year the curriculum packet was adapted a bit to re-create that experience at home. Friday evening will include a virtual Zoom campout, where families setting up tents and whatever else they can think of to bring the magic of the night. It's week #2 of Ocean Life! Follow along for a DIY Shark craft from 3 and 4-days 'grab and go' curriculum packet Supplies: Light & Dark Blue, White and Black Paper Google Eyes... Glue Sticks Scissors Black Marker Cut the white paper in half; use half for body of the shark, half for teeth. Draw the body of the shark, then cut it out. (Refer to the picture.) Cut the black paper into a half circle. Cut the other half of the white paper into triangles (teeth). Cut the long side of the dark blue paper to look like waves. Glue all the pieces onto the light blue paper. Draw eyes.
