New Beginnings and inspirations seem to generate more momentum with the start of each new year. As we head towards the sun and longer days, the gift of sobriety awakens our spirit. Spirit in part means breath. Breath is defined as "the nonphysical part of a person which is the seat of emotions and character; the soul." When we get sober, present and awake; spiritual experiences are happening all around us with limitless possibilities. This happens for everyone in different wa...ys. When I learn to embrace and accept all parts of myself, spiritual experiences become more common than not and life gets pretty colorful and awesome. What gifts about yourself are you learning to embrace and accept? Let us know what we can do for you and how we can help in 2019 ! #AnchoredRecoveryCommunity "And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation some fact of my life unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. "Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I could accept my alcoholism, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes." The Big Book
