Tonite I did a small yet decadent cake for a client. She wanted the fruit tart look just on a cake instead of a tart shell. I filled this with slices of everything we put on top. Covered in vanilla bean buttercream with chocolate sprinkles at the bottom border & topped with chopped walnuts & chocolate curls.

Thanks to my husband who always pushes me to fulfill my dreams, he went behind my back & entered me into the LA Cookie Con as an exhibitor. He said I need to get my name out there & what better way then a cookie & pastry convention! Hopefully they accept the app & I can make it. We made a few sugar cookies for a special little client this past weekend.

My husband wanted my fancy brownies. So that's what he got. This is as fancy as its gonna get with him folks. He likes plain desserts which kills me inside!
