ENGINEERING SPOTLIGHT! What is going on in this picture!? A load test! One of our recent projects required a nearly 300,000 lb load test be applied to it prior to finalizing our work. Terminal came up with a method to perform such a test to ensure the various lifting lugs could more than withstand what it will face in the field and successfully passed!

A TMC project made of tungsten for a national laboratory. Tungsten is a more exotic material that is notoriously difficult to machine due to its brittle nature and hardness value. Fun fact about tungsten is that it has the highest melting point of all metals at 6,191 degrees Fahrenheit (3,422 degrees Celsius).

One of our projects that inspired the most creativity from our team due to its massive size! This is one of four sections of a blast enclosure that weighs approximately 96,000 lbs. The enclosure protects ultra high tech cameras that photograph outside blasts. Note the black interior!

Cooling coil that is certified per 10CFR21 regulations indicating a Safety Related status. This will go into a nuclear reactor therefore must follow very strict quality guidelines.
