SUTTER CREEK GALLERY AND FRAMING is opening at its new Sutter Creek location on Saturday, February 6. 40 Main Street is the new home for the local artists and custom framing services you’ve enjoyed over the years. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday. On display will be original paintings, prints and cards, photographs, jewelry, pottery, gourds, and fiber arts. The gallery displays are going up and the art will be coming in very soon. In the meantime, while we are getting organized to open, please continue to contact Judy Day at 223-1347 about matting and framing. Soon after we open, she will be framing at 40 Main Street, Sutter Creek.

Yesterday we transferred all of the gallery displays and supplies into our new digs at 40 Main Street, Sutter Creek. We will be spending the next few days or more getting things up and running prior to opening. Because we no longer have the built-ins for supplies from the previous location, we are looking for bookcases or metal shelving for storage. New test site location for Covid-19 as the one at St. Katharine Drexel is closing as of January 11. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 7, 2021 ... Contact: Diana Evensen, MSPH Amador County Public Health Public Information Officer Amador COVID-19 Test Site Transition Amador County, CA Effective next Wednesday, January 13, 2021, no-cost community COVID-19 nasal swab testing by appointment will change location and transition to OptumServe. Online registration may be accessed at https://lhi.care/covidtesting. Those without internet access may register by calling 1-888-634-1123. The test site will be located at the Health and Human Services Building located at 10877 Conductor Blvd, Sutter Creek, CA 95685. Those with a scheduled appointment will drive around to the rear entrance of the building and park in the area designated by red cones. Appointments will be available in Amador County on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The testing site at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Parish will close at the end of the day on Monday, January 11, 2021. Amador County Public Health sincerely appreciates the gracious service the Parish provided our local community by hosting the drive-through test site for over 7 months.
