Paso Robles Pioneer Museum

Although The Pioneer Museum is still closed because of the Pandemic, we thought you might like to see our new displays. The newest display shows the history of schools in Paso Robles, starting in 1877. Pictures and a short biography of each person having a school named after them is also included in this display. Our branding iron display is almost complete! We have a short history of brands and lots of branding irons!

Unfortunately, the Governor has moved San Luis Obispo County back up to the Purple tier - the most restrictive tier. This means the Paso Robles Pioneer Museum will be CLOSED until further notice. We will let you know as soon as we can reopen.

We are excited to announce that The Paso Robles Pioneer Museum is reopening again. Starting on Saturday, October 17, the museum will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please stop by and see us!

On Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th, 2020, the California Barbed Wire Collectors Association will return to Paso Robles for a show in the city where their club was founded! The show will be at the Pioneer Museum in Paso Robles 2010 Riverside Avenue. Hours are Friday, March 6th, 9am-5pm, and Saturday 9am-3pm. Displays will be from members from many states west of the Rocky Mountains and the public is welcome to view these unique displays.
