We are excited to announce that we have opened the practice for patient care! Over the past few weeks our team has been working hard to prepare the office to reopen. We have carefully updated our office procedures to minimize the risk of COVID-19 for our patients and staff. We know that many of you are eager to come in right away! We thank you for your patience as we work to reschedule 9 weeks of cancelled appointments and accommodate everyone’s needs. We are reducing the n...umber of patients we see per day, so if you have a previously-scheduled hygiene visit it is likely that your appointment time will change. If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know right away as we have many people waiting to be scheduled. With everyone’s safety in mind, we have made some changes to our office policies and procedures. These changes include, but are not limited to, the following: To allow for social distancing between patients, appointment lengths have been increased and appointment start times are staggered to reduce the number of patients coming in and out of the office at one time. This might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment, and we thank you for supporting social distancing with us. When we confirm your appointment, we will ask you some important screening questions. When you arrive for your appointment, we will take your temperature and you’ll be asked these same questions again. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office when you are outside. This helps us maintain social distancing with any other patients that might be here. At this time, our waiting room is closed and we are only allowing patients to come into the building. We ask that all other visitors kindly remain outside. We ask that you wear a mask to your appointment and that you sanitize your hands when you arrive. We have removed any items that are difficult to disinfect from the common areas, such as magazines, toys, and our coffee station. Another topic on many patient’s minds is infection control. We have always taken pride in our outstanding infection control and clean and sanitary office. Be on the lookout for our Infection Control Newsletter that will outline the additional steps we have taken to protect you and our team. We are looking forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust in us and we look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends. Sincerely, Dr. Olson, Dr. Courtin & Team

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. In light of the evolving pandemic, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association have recommended that all dental practices close with the exception of urgent dental emergencies. We will be closed for the next 3 weeks and expect to return to the office on ...April 6, 2020. Government authorities may extend this closure. If you have an appointment scheduled with us during the time of our closure, our office will be in touch with you to cancel your appointment unless we have made other arrangements with you. We will reschedule all appointments once we have returned to the office. One of our doctors will be on-call in the event of a dental emergency. Should you require emergency dental care, please call our office. The contact information for our on-call doctor will be stated in our voicemail. Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind. We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time. Sincerely, Dr. Olson, Dr. Courtin & Team

We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The health and safety of our patients and staff are of utmost importance and we are following all necessary requirements set forth by the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) to reduce the spread of COVID-19. In addition to our standard infection protocols, we are asking all individuals to sanitize their hands when they come into the office. We are also regularly disinfecting all common areas and surface...s, including counter tops and doorknobs. If you have a scheduled appointment and you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or you have been in direct contact with someone exhibiting these symptoms, please call our office and reschedule your appointment. This also applies to anyone accompanying a patient to their appointment. If you are experiencing these symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing) you should contact your medical provider immediately and self-quarantine until you receive further instructions from your physician. If you have recently returned from a country with ongoing COVID-19 infections, monitor your health and follow any instructions from the public health officials. The best thing we can do as a community to prevent the spread of illness is to frequently wash our hands, cover coughs and sneezes, and stay at home when sick. We thank you for your understanding, and are sending our wishes that everyone remain in good health. Sincerely, Dr. Olson, Dr. Courtin & Team
