2018-19 comparative study of 24-42 year old alumni from public, secular private, Catholic, evangelical Christian, religious homeschool, and Classical Christian schools, on topics of life-choices, preparation, attitudes, values, opinions, and practices. This research seems to confirm what history has repeatedly demonstratedclassical Christian education can influence the course of a home, a community, or a nation. https://www.classicaldifference.com/good-soil/

Mrs. Macias reads, "The Kissing Hand." Sometimes it’s just as hard for us to leave our children in a new situation as it is for them. How comforting for both parent and child to know that the love and reassurance to face such separations can be as close as the palm of our hands! https://www.canterbury.school/the-kissing-hand-with-mrs-ma/

The Canterbury Christian School Bell Teams accompany our favorite Christmas hymns with hand bells and chimes. The group consists of young musicians in 3rd and 4th grade. The bell teams have performed under Mrs. Ruder at Canterbury for over thirty years. https://www.canterbury.school/christmas-bells-a-holiday-ha/

Classical Christian schools are essential to helping our children understand the vast scope of Christ’s claim of truth. As they provide students with a solid education, these schools are equipping the next generation to bring a Christian worldview to bear on every part of our society. - Chuck Colson, Founder of Prison Fellowship

Our classes are fun and exciting. There’s also structure and organization because that helps children know what to expectand what’s expected of thembut also because 1 Corinthians 14:40 says, Let all things be done decently and in order.

Our friends at Big Life Journal shared this awesome printable craft for parents to work on with their children. "We know that, to our children, asking for help is on par with admitting defeat many times they would rather stubbornly keep going and trying to do it themselves (aka "doing it the hard way") leading to frustration, upset, and even tears. This PRINTABLE "I Can Ask for Help" cloud craft is meant to help your child avoid getting to that point of complete frustrat...ion when things get tough. On each rainbow strip, your child will write the name of someone they can go to when they need help." Download here: https://www.canterbury.school//I-Can-Ask-For-Help-Big-Life

The foundation of our entire curriculum is the Bible. During their time at Canterbury, students enjoy daily Bible Chapels PLUS learn over 400 Bible songs, memorize over 330 Bible verses, and study over 500 Bible stories in their classrooms from K4 through 5th grade. These are all part of "hiding God's Word in our hearts" (Psalm 119:11).
